In addition, all faculty are expected to openly disclose any off-label, experimental, or investigational use of drugs or devices discussed in their presentation. Having an interest in or affiliation with a commercial entity does not preclude making a presentation at a CME activity, but the relationship must be disclosed in advance and any potential conflict of interest must be resolved in accordance with the ACCME Updated Standards for Commercial Support. The planners and faculty have been advised that this activity must be free from commercial bias and based upon all the available scientifically rigorous data from research that conforms to accepted standards of experimental design, data collection, and analysis. Disclosure of these commitments and/or relationships is included in the materials so that participants in the activity may formulate their own judgment in interpreting its content and evaluating its recommendations.
